This control is used to turn on or off a humidifying or dehumidifier devices like portable Fans or  Humidifiers in a range from  (30% - 1000% RH) of relative humidity. 
No wiring is necessary. Simply plug the device you want to control into the plug on the humidistat, and select the percentage of humidity you want to maintain. Comes with 6' power cord. Operates on 110/120 voltage up to 15 amps.
